A Japanese porcelain Arita jar and cover painted in bright Kakiemon enamels including, yellow, turquoise, blue and iron-red, with butterflies flying above flowering chrysanthemum and peony beside a table and screen in a fenced garden scene, the original cover similarly decorated.
Japanese porcelain Arita Imari large baluster jar and cover, painted in coloured enamels, including turquoise, green, yellow and iron-red, with phoenix birds flying above large hydrangeas, camellia and banana trees, with another phoenix bird on a branch, the shoulder with four panels of iron-red and gilt camellias in an octofoil reserve on a ground of flowering cherry blossom and foliage, the design repeated on the cover.
